"Unemployed", Frustrated and Sluggish

Feeling very frustrated with this public system. I don’t see anything good with it still. 

After watching the inspiring “12 7 hours”, I feel very encouraged to go back to the private sector.  But I feel trapped, as I have been “unemployed” for 2 years and I am getting old.  Both are very “un-employable” for the corporates.

 

Frustrated that I have been trying and have not heard anything back, other than from SolarCity.   And yes, Kensington rejected me as well.  All the rejecting companies are probably too low for me anyway.  I made it to Cisco, so that is a good validation.   Mexico refused to give me a visa, Canada rejected my “green card” application with a high failing score.  If I apply again, I should make it this time, but I am already a US citizen now.     Canada may be a good country, but U.S. is considered better by most, including myself.  Mexico,  well..

 

As for the sluggish part, I have been having non-stop attacks of canker sores this past 3-4 weeks.  One ends and the other starts.  Very annoying.  One thing I noticed is that it made me very sluggish.   And it is already painful to eat and talk.  10:41am and I feel sleepy again, after sleeping for almost 8 hours last night.

Slow October continues

I’m very drowsy at this hour.    So frigging slow.  Got done with everything except for a few little things: a new requisition pending on a refreshed quote.  A replacement quote.  A req with vendors mixed up.  A revised quote  pending on change order from PUC.  There is no issues with Staples accounts, Login’s, except that Staples needs to get back to me on the last 2 items audited.  

 

I have applied for several jobs lately.  My eyes are very tired.   Paul just added me as an contact in LinkedIn.  He is one of the persons to whom I am grateful, along with Karen Soong, James Locke, Raul Gascon, Hang Nguyen.

 

Slow October

It has been very slow since 10/10.  I am pretty bored.  I don’t have any reports to do.  

There is no professional contracts to review, no sole source waivers, no reqs, no issues with Staples...

Frustration

I wouldn't know if this order was processed, if you had  not had told Diane to ask for the refreshed quote from me.    I have been here for 1 year and 7 months and learned that there is no collaboration and little communication in the system.  On top of following up with the user department/DT, I expedited the reqs internally as well. (it is really not my business   He knew that I was handling it, but he intentionally avoided returning my email to keep me in the loop.  Furthermore, he assigned it to Diane. 

 

I was thinking that he thought if he returned my email, that would make him look bad and make it feel like he was taking orders from me (which is probably a no-no in this caste system).    I am still adjusting myself to this system, but so far the process has been very frustrating.
