Slow October continues

I’m very drowsy at this hour.    So frigging slow.  Got done with everything except for a few little things: a new requisition pending on a refreshed quote.  A replacement quote.  A req with vendors mixed up.  A revised quote  pending on change order from PUC.  There is no issues with Staples accounts, Login’s, except that Staples needs to get back to me on the last 2 items audited.  

 

I have applied for several jobs lately.  My eyes are very tired.   Paul just added me as an contact in LinkedIn.  He is one of the persons to whom I am grateful, along with Karen Soong, James Locke, Raul Gascon, Hang Nguyen.

Slow October

It has been very slow since 10/10.  I am pretty bored.  I don’t have any reports to do.  

There is no professional contracts to review, no sole source waivers, no reqs, no issues with Staples...

Frustration

Hi Kathy,

 

I wouldn't know if this order was processed, if you had  not had told Diane to ask for the refreshed quote from me.    I have been here for 1 year and 7 months and learned that there is no collaboration and little communication in the system.  On top of following up with the user department/DT, I expedited the reqs internally as well. (it is really not my business   He knew that I was handling it, but he intentionally avoided returning my email to keep me in the loop.  Furthermore, he assigned it to Diane. 

 

I was thinking that he thought if he returned my email, that would make him look bad and make it feel like he was taking orders from me (which is probably a no-no in this caste system).    I am still adjusting myself to this system, but so far the process has been very frustrating.
